Vaihingen was a subsidiary camp of Natzweiler in Württemberg that opened in July 1944 according to prisoner statements and closed on April 2, 1945; most prisoners were evacuated to Dachau. The remaining prisoners were liberated on April 7, 1945. Inmates were compelled to do quarry and tunnel work for the Organisation Todt (OT) Oberbauleitung and the Baresel AG. (en-US)
