Definizione
A displaced persons camp for Jewish refugees that was established by the American occupation forces in a former Wehrmacht barracks in Landsberg, a town outside of Munich in October 1945. This was the largest Jewish DP camp in Bavaria and it had a Jewish community center, hospital, religious school, kibbutz, theater, radio station, and newspaper. It was closed in 1949. (en-US)
