Definizione

In 1944, the pro-British Mustafa al-Nahhas and his Wafdist movement controlled the government in Egypt. Nahhas came into conflict with King Farouk and was dismissed by Farouk in October. Ahmad Mahir, leader of the Saadist movement replaced Nahhas. (en-US)
