Definizione

The American Joint Reconstruction Foundation (AJRF) was founded in 1924 by the Jewish Colonization Association (JCA or ICA) and the American Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) to assist Central and Eastern European Jews through financial loans and aid. The AJRF was operated by both the ICA and JDC. Most AJRF activities ceased during World War II, and the foundation was closed in 1951. (en-US)
