Brabant is a province in central Belgium. The capital is Brussels. Other important cities and towns are Louvain, Hal, Tubize, Nivelles, and Tirlemont. Most of the people in the province are Flemish speaking, while French speakers dominate in the south. Brussels is a bilingual city, with both French and Flemish commonly used. Brabant is bordered by the province of Antwerp to the north and by the provinces of Limburg and Liège to the east, Namur and Hainaut to the south, and East Flanders to the west. (en-US)
