Definition: The Allied Commission-operated refugee camp in Bolzano opened May 18, 1946, with a population of 792. This population grew to 1181 by June 20, 1946, and to 1186 by July 8, 1946. Bolzano was also identified as Camp number IT23 and D.P.R.S.C. No. 19. In 1946 the camp was classified as part of the NW Group Milano. (en-US)
