The Echterdingen forced labor camp for men was an outlying commando of Natzweiler. It was located in the state of Württemberg in the district of Esslingen. According to camp documentation, it opened between November 17 and November 21, 1944, with 600 prisoners, and closed on January 21, 1945, when the prisoners were transferred to Buchenwald, Ohrdruf, and Bergen-Belsen. The employer who used forced labor was Organisation Todt (OT) Bauleitung Eßlingen am Neckar. The prisoners worked in a stone quarry and on an airfield. (en-US)
