Locaiton: Hungarian county bounded by Austria (Burgenland) on the west, by Györ county on the northeast, and by the Vas county on the south. The city of Sopron (Ödenburg) was given to Austria after WWI and then returned to Hungary in 1921 after a plebiscite. The interwar county does not differ from the pre-WWI one. County seat: Sopron (en-US)
