Definizione

Location: In the SW of France in the historical Guienne and Gascony provinces. The department was bordered clockwise by the departments of Dordogne, Lot, Tarn-et-Garonne, Gers, Landes, and Gironde. Significant trade was done in the towns of Agen, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Marmande, and Nérac. During WWII the department was included in the non-occupied (Vichy) zone of France.
