Definizione

The Pomorze voivodship was located in northwestern Poland between the wars. The area had been part of the German province of West Prussia since 1772. After WWI, the territory was divided among Germany, the Free City of Danzig, and Poland, where it became the Pomorze voivodship with Torun as the capital city. During WWII, Germany annexed the region again.
