Definizione

Location: Nowogródek was a voivodship (province), bounded by the voivodships of Vilna (north), Polesie (south), and Bialystok (west), and to the east, by the USSR. In September 1939, Nowogródek was annexed by the USSR and incorporated into the Belorussian Soviet Socialist Republic. In June 1941, it was occupied by the German army and became part of the Reichskommissariat Ostland. Capital city: Nowogródek (en-US)
