Stereá Ellás (Grecia : Division) CercaDefinizione
Located in central Greece, Stereá Ellas was a division of interwar Greece, bordering the divisions of Pelopónnisos, Ípiros, and Thessalía and comprised of the provinces of Aitolia-Akarnanía, Attikí-Voiotía, Évvoia, Fthiótis-Fokís. The main city was Athinai (Athens). From April 1941 to September 1943, Stereá Ellas was occupied by Italy. After the Italian armistice of September 1943, it was then occupied by Germany.
