Definizione

The Wilischthal concentration camp, a subcamp of Flossenbürg for female prisoners, was located in the state of Saxony, in the district of Stollberg. According to camp documentation, Wilischtahl opened not later than October 30, 1944. The average number of women prisoners was 280. Prisoners were forced to labor in a mechanical plant for Deutsche Kühl- & Kraftmaschinen GmbH. Official reports state that the camp inmates were evacuated to the Theresienstadt ghetto in Czechoslovakia around April 15, 1945. (en-US)
