Definizione

German authorities established a sub-camp of Sachsenhausen in the state of Prussia in the province of Brandenburg, N of Cottbus. According to a statement of a previous member of the camp command the camp was opened at the end of 1943 or at the beginning of 1944. Wittnesses stated, that the camp was evacuated in February 1945 to Sachsenhausen, with only those unable to march left in the camp. The prisoners were under the command of the SS-Bauleitung (SS Construction Command); they erected barracks in Ullersdorf and worked on road and rail construction. (en-US)
