Definizione

Protestant sects and denominations trace their linage to the Reformation, 16th century reforms to Western Christianity, either directly or indirectly. Protestantism is distinguished from Roman Catholicism by its rejection of the papacy, a stronger emphasis on scripture than on tradition, and often a greater regard for personal experience. (en-US)
