Definizione

On March 17, 1921 a constitution is accepted. On March 20, 1921, Polish troops occupy the disputed area of Silesia. The National Democratic movement (Endek), a right wing party, with Roman Dmowski as a leader, dominates the political scene in the country. Jews are discriminated against in education and occupation. The Polish state creates obstacles for Jews in their economic activites. There are efforts to expel Jews accused of not having Polish citizenship. (en-US)
