Definizione

Greece recovers a democratic course with the return of former prime minister Constantine Karamanlis from exile in France on June 24, 1974. He becomes prime minister at once. Elections take place in November, and the constitution of June 1975 provides for a parliamentary republic. Greece joins the EC in 1981. (en-US)
