King George II returns to Greece on November 25, 1935, and the monarchy is reestablished. In 1936, Premier Metaxes abolishes parliamentary government and institutes a dictatorship with profacist terndencies. Metaxes admires Germany, but maintains Greece's relationship with the UK. (en-US)
