Definizione

On March 21, 1919, a Communist regime is established and includes a considerable number of Jews in the upper ranks. This new regime is accompanied by riots against Jews. Romania and Czechoslovakia invade on April 10, 1919. A Unionist government suceeds the Communists and abdicates on August 6, 1919. A new Hungarian government is established with Miklós Horthy as a regent on March 1, 1920. Under the Treaty of Trianon of June 4, 1920, Hungary loses two thirds of its pre-war territory and more than half of its population. (en-US)
