Definizione

The German Democratic Republic begins construction of the Berlin Wall on August 13, 1961, sealing off the border with the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1969 the Federal republic of Germany lifts the 20-year statue of limitations to allow further prosecution of Nazi war crimes. The Berlin Wall falls on the night of November 9-10, 1989. (en-US)
