Definizione

During the last months of the war, the Germans still control the North Holland and South Holland provinces while the Allied forces liberate the eastern part of the country. The Westerbork concentration camp with 876 survivors is liberated on April 12. The Netherlands is fully liberated in May with the German unconditional surrender. (en-US)
