Starting in January, Dutch Jews must relocate to Amsterdam; stateless Jews are sent to Westerbork. The first decree on confiscation on Jewish property appears March 12. As of May 3, every Jew must wear the yellow badge. Regular deportations begin in late summer. In July, a group of students organize and successfully hide 4,500 children. (en-US)
