Definition:
The United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) ran a displaced persons camp in Milan, Italy, following World War II. The Milan camp was initially under the supervision of the Allied Commission. UNRRA took over full operations of the camp on August 1, 1946. The Milan camp was the northern Italian displaced persons administrative center. Milan also contained the vocational training center known as "Scuola Cadorna." The Milan camp was designated code IT-77 and belonged to the Milan Group of camps. (en-US)
