Location: Hungarian county bounded by Komárom-Esztergom county on the west, by Czechoslovakia (Slovakia) on the north, by Heves county on the east, and by Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun county on the south. This county comprised two pre WWI counties in 1920; one of which (Hont) had lost significant part of its territory to Czechoslovakia (Slovakia). County seat: Balassagyarmat (en-US)
