Definizione

Location: Gyõr is a Hungarian county bounded by Austria (Burgenland) and Sopron county on the west, by Czechoslovakia (Slovakia) on the north, by Komárom-Esztergom county on the east, and by Veszprém county on the south. This county was comprised of three pre-WWI counties, one of which (Pozsony) had lost most of its territory to Czechoslovakia (Slovakia) and another of which (Moson) had partially lost its territory to Czechoslovakia (Slovakia). In 1920 Gyõr combined with what was left of county of Moson. County seat: Gyõr (en-US)
