Definizione

With the outbreak of World War II in September 1939, Yugoslavia remains neutral yet aligns itself with the Axis powers. In October 1940 Yugoslavia enacts laws establishing a numerous clauses for Jews in schools and excluding Jews from trading in certain food items. On March 26, 1941, a coup d'etat results in a government more sympathetic to the allies. (en-US)
